Founded by Australian frontman, Sam Cooper, the mission statement was always simple: Blaring bagpipe anthems and twisted tin-whistle tunes. Think ‘Dropkick Murphys meets Green Day’ and you’re right about there.
While the band certainly doesn’t sound like it’s Celtic-Punk-Counterparts, The Cloverhearts are certainly no Celtic-Punk-Counterfeits. Having garnered over 3 Million Streams on Spotify alone in just 3 years, supported genre giants such as The O’Reillys and the Paddyhats, The Rumjacks and Mr. Irish Bastard, and landed prestigious festival appearances at Mighty Sounds (Czech Republic), Panic Fest (France) and Feffarkhorn (Italy)… It’s no wonder London Celtic Punks have crowned The Cloverhearts one of the scenes most “prolific”, “hard working" and “highly original” new bands in Celtic Punk.
