MRK is a groove-heavy, horn-lit sound project inspired by the universe and its silence. It moves between composition, improvisation, and immersive sound.

The MIND TREE Trio performs in the jazz tradition, drawing from in-fluences of classical, improvised, and alternative music. The members of the Mind Tree trio – drummer Žiga Smrdel and bassist Peter Smrdel from WCKD Na-tion, and pianist Matic Štemberger, who received the Škerjanec Prize from the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet for exceptional academic accomplishments and contributions to artistic promotion – ground their music in the earth, free from emotional experiences and burdens.
